Okay, so i have absolutely no idea why the sept. act is only offered in some states. since i live by the border of a state that offers it in sept, i was lucky enough to drive over (had to stay the night in a hotel though, i know it sounds absurd).
Anybody know why it's only offered in some states? Anyone else test out of state?

I'm not sure why either, but I went from NJ to PA to take the test.

OK to TX

some dude came from jersey to nyc

now thats a bit too much....

lol jersey is only about 2 hours away from nyc at some points
ok to tx? THAT's quite a ride

jersey isnt even 2 hours unless you live on like the complete opposite side, which in that case, would be easier to go to delaware/maryland/pa

I think it has to do with the number of times ACT is legally aloud to give the test in some states. I'm pretty sure that's why they can't do it in New York for February.

"Due to the special requirements of legislation in effect in New York, a February test date is not scheduled in that state."
Doesn't mention anything about the others though.

I feel sorry for the kids in OK... it can take half a day or more to get down to Texas from up there, unless you live right on the border.

at least two in my testing center in NY were from CT...that's a drive!

I drove for 40 mins to Missouri from Kansas. Not too bad.
