I've been reading previous years' appeals threads for UCB, and their appeals process. To keep things short, let's just say that my chances of getting into the school are slim.
3.6UW/~4.0+ UC GPA, 9 APs, 1450(CR+M)/2190(single)/2210(super), OOS, Letters and Science, good everything else.

I've planned out my appeal letter to Berkeley and am wondering how much it would help (I know that only 3% of appeals get in). Here's a brief overview of the appeal letter:

the tone is confident, not whiny or self-entitled; it is a good reflection on who I was throughout high school and who I am now. I also avoided rambling on, which seems a bit desperate.

-7th semester GPA is a 3.9/4.5W (plan on sending transcript)

-2 rec letters from AP Calc BC teacher and AP CompSci teacher. Calc teacher disliked me in junior year, but I've managed to win her over with hard work, good results, and volunteering. I am also one of the top students in APCS right now, with a good relationship with my teacher.

So should I give this appeal a shot or am I just wasting my time?

Thanks.

Also: Accepted to UW, UCSD, UTA, rejected from Rice.
