Hey, I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some insight on a certain admissions question... Im by no means an outstanding candidate that Claremont McKenna will see, although I do fit to their admissions standards, but I was wondering how much my state residency would help me. No colleges claim that it is heavily considered and sometimes make a point to say it doesnt matter at all, but seeing that CMC is only 48% out of state I was curious if being from Pennsylvania would help my admissions chances. If anyone has a clue or knows from experience with their present classmates to what degree this will help me then Id greatly appreciate your insight. Thanks!

The percentage of students from out of state at CMC has increased this year, but the student body still consists of many Californians. Residing in Pennsylvania will improve your chances of admission but probably not by much.
