<p>Ditto the Honors College at USC - The USC at Columbia, S.C., the USC that just beat The Other USC in California in overtime in basketball. Fantastic small classes for Honors Students. Great housing! Lots of money for wide range of GPAs. D just got postcard re: their Lieber Scholarship for National Merit winners. It's now $10,000 a year, up from $6,000. (Web page not updated yet.) If you're out of state, that means you'll also get the tuition waiver; and are still eligible for additional money if you get the Lieber. I believe you'll also get a free laptop. Any oos student who gets a $500 scholarship from them for any reason, also gets the oos tuition waiver.</p>
