<p>I don't know anything about the voice faculty, but Chen Yi is a composition professor there. And they have extensive course listings. My son was looking into it for awhile. (I had erroneously, on an earlier post, thought Chen Yi was at FSU. No - University of Missouri, Kansas City.) It seems well worth checking out.</p>

<p>Chen Yi was the special guest composer at Bowling Green State University's annual New Music & Art Festival this past week. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to go down for any part of it but my daughter is in the Philharmonia, which I believe performed at least one of her works as part of this event.</p>

<p>I would also mention SUNY Purchase, a New York State school, as a good conservatory. It is about 45 minutes from New York City and (I have heard) has a good faculty. Tuition is quite low there.</p>
