State testing....????

I have taken the act twice, I took the first exam on a national test date with writing and scored a 26 and I took it again in March as my school offered it for free under state testing and scored a 27. This test was given without writing. If I submit both of these exam scores to colleges will they still look at the 27 as my highest because I had previously taken the writing portion, or will the only look at the exam taken with the writing portion?

Yes, they will see your higher scores. Almost all colleges only require writing once, and it’s basically a technicality.

It depends on the school. You need to call those you are interested in and ask them.
