State universities in Florida cheap?

Hi everyone!
I have heard that Florida is charging only 35k
total for the whole 4 years for any of its state
universities. Is this true?

Tuition and fees for Florida residents are less than that. However, in-state total costs, even for commuter students, are more than that. Example: http://www.sfa.ufl.edu/basics/cost-of-attendance/

Obviously, they are significantly more expensive for non-Florida residents, unless you earn a big scholarship (like the full ride one that Florida A&M gives for 3.5 HS GPA and 29 ACT).

The cost of tuition for an OOS student will be MUCH higher than that for four years total.

Who told you that???

OOS tuition will be something around $25k per year PLUS room, board, etc, costs…about $37k per year total…so about $160k total for four years.
