Statement of Interest

I was hoping I would never be one of those asking this question, but, alas, here I am.

I submitted a statement of interest for an internship recently and subsequently committed the sin of reading it after I submitted it.

I noticed that I left out an "and." It was not used as a sentence conjunction, but rather to combine two nouns. However, it can also be inferred that the preceding noun was meant to be an adjective.

Perhaps these statements serve a different purpose than those of a graduate school, but should I be concerned of this error?

Thanks for any opinions.

if you can’t do anything about it, there is no point to worrying (or even worrying whether or not you should be worrying).
