What state schools can you get in state after a year for establishing residency freshman year?

I’ve read Texas but you 'd might want to confirm that.
Texas has tightened up the residency rules so it’s much tougher. We were able to do it in 2011, but I don’t think we could do it now.
Here are more specifics on the Utah policy, you have to stay instate for all but 29 days over the 12 month period and not be claimed as a dependent on your parents’ tax return:
