<p>hey, I'm from Chicago and I just got into University of Wisconsin. Many people I know have told me to stay at Statesider. Is this the best private dorm? Are the people mean and clicky there? Please let me know! I'm open to any opinions or suggestions.</p>
<p>Why not try the on campus (University, public) residence halls? Even though instate students get priority for getting in them they don't get dorm choice priority so you could get your first choice- there are OOS students in even the most popular dorms. Do you really want to live on State St. in the midst of all the late night noise? There is no need to segregate yourself from the Wisconsin freshmen.</p>
