Statics and physics during summer

I am currently taking physics this spring with a C. I registered for physics again this summer just in case my grade slips to a D and I have to take it again. I also registered for statics this summer. I realize that this is a heavy load for summer. The problem is that if I don’t take statics this summer then my graduation will be pushed back a whole year. I live by myself and don’t have to work so I can focus entirely on school. My main question is in a worst case scenario and I need to retake physics, is it possible to pass these classes if taken together during the summer?

Are we talking about a 11 or 12 week summer term? If so, two classes is typical, and you should find physics easier the 2nd time through. Make sure you make a few friends in your Statics class, a study group will make it a lot less painful.

Passing physics first would also make statics a lot less painful. If you start it with only a D-level background in physics, you’ll probably struggle.

You will need knowledge from physics-mechanics to do well in statics.
