So I’m reading the Advanced Placement policy and a 5 in statistics grants you a credit in Statistics 111. But then I’m looking at the typical freshmen schedule for a wharton student and it says Stats 101 fall semester and Stats 102 spring semester. Does this mean the AP credit basically gets you nothing and you have to retake the stats classes at wharton anyway?

yeah, i was wondering the same thing.
But I don't care, I'm going to take Stats 101 and Stats 102 anyway, even if I get a 5 on the AP test.

Why would you retake it? That's an awful idea. Trust me: if you get credit, use it. If you really love stat that much, take upper level ones.

so whats the point of getting credit for stat 111? does it exempt u from taking stats 101 and 102?

bump........

Thread delivers

STAT 111 credit can fulfill the STAT 101 requirement, but only AFTER you pass STAT 102 with a C or better.
