is psyc60 the only stats class at UCSD?
please share if you know some others ones and the difficulty of the class
thx

PSYC60 is perhaps the EASIEST stats class offered at UCSD

MATH180s are stats and probability theory/stochastic analysis classes
POLI30 or 27 (one of them) is stats for poli
COGS14 is research statistics
PSYC111AB is the psyc honors stats sequence
ECON120ABC is econometrics

I’m sure there’s a lot more

what about math11 but i heard u need to take a lab along with the class?

There is no curve in psych 60. At least this is what I heard for 3 other professors. It’s an easy class, yet only around 20% of people still manage to get an A. Take it as if it’s a hard class and you won’t disappoint yourself.

cogs 14 is fairly easy as well

Anyway, why do you need a stats class? If you’re pursuing a graduate degree in any of the social/behavioral sciences, I wouldn’t be looking for the ‘easiest’ stats course. Stats and research methods courses will form the foundation of analysis that entire disciplines are formed around. If you’re going after something like an MBA or a career in business, stats courses and general quantitative preparation are invaluable for being granted admissions, too.

One word: premed.
