What is the acceptance rate? What are the SATs and other stats for those that are accepted through transfer?

i think for harvard they took 75 transfers, out of over 1000 applicants. yale's figures probably aren't that different. i think you're expected to still have a top SAT (min. 2100?), but your high school transcript is completely irrelevant. i think you're basically just expected to be really good at the school you're already at, and involved in uni life.

Yale's transfer admit rate is one or two percent lower than Harvard's.
They usually get about 200 less apps than Harvard, but they also admit about 20-30 less. I think this year was 30-40 out of 900 something? (I read these numbers somewhere, though I maybe pulling numbers out of my ass...)

they accepted around 29 from a bit over 900 this year.

does Yale consider students they rejected as freshmen, for transfers?

of course. make sure you send different essays though.
