Statistics

I'm an incoming freshman and want to apply to the business school after the first year. I know it's not a requirement, but I get the idea that a Stats class would be a good idea. I'm currently signed up for STATS 100 (because some guy I met who is in the business school said it's a great class if you enjoy not attending it and still getting good grades--which I find right up my alley.) I got a 4 on the AP Stats exam, so I figure it'll be pretty easy. Also, I'm on a waitlist for STATS 350.

So if anyone could comment on any of the statistics classes at Michigan (STATS 100, STATS 125, STATS 150, or STATS 350), it would be greatly appreciated.

dont take stats 100…

if you got a 4 on ap stats, then stats 350 shouldnt be a problem at all. it’ll mostly be review.

Mostly all the stats classes at michigan are a joke/gpa booster. I got a 4 on AP Stats, took Stats 425 [which is intro to statistics with calculus 3] without taking any other college statistics courses, and got a pretty easy A. and from what I heard from friends, stats 350 should also be an easy A. Additionally, Ross would most likely want you to take stats 350 rather than 100.
