I'm taking Statistics 10 with Sanchez next quarter. Any input/feedback on what type of professor he is? I've already looked on bruinwalk but I want to know from YOU guys

I'm also interested about how this class is, especially since I'm horrible at math. How do the discussions work? Is it just going over homework problems?

I'm also interested about how this class is, especially since I'm horrible in math. Not only that but I'm taking it with an extremely low rated teacher in Session C. I am also taking it P/NP. is a C doable for someone no good at math :D

stats is easy (well for me it is).

its more logic/reasoning than straight up math. the math part is basically plug and chug into given formulas after you figure out what you need to do with the given numbers in the problem....

i have stats 13 with christou this quarter. 5 tests. no final. all open note. and the TA basically does like 90% if not all of the homework problems for you in discussion. didnt even have to buy the book (he has handouts) :D not sure how other profs do it though.

i'm taking stats with davis next quarter
(btw she and sanchez are both women) xD
anyways, i looked up davis' class on the stats website and looked at past years' syllabi. it lists homework assignments, weekly labs, and info about grades.
i'm sure if you did the same for sanchez you'd find out the basic structure of the course.

Stats 10 is not cake as everyone thinks. It is more difficult than Stats 13.

As a consensus, Davis is the better professor.

Stats 10 is structure like a High School class.

Why is Stats 10 more difficult than 13?

Oh nvm...probably for the same reasons as the 3 and 31/32 series.

im finding stats 13 pretty difficult. well, the material itself is not too bad, but the exams can get tricky (with prof christou).

and what reasons would those be, just curious
