Stats 20/21 and scheduling advice

<p>I've already signed up for Stats 20, but just found out that its with a Professor Tom. Has anyone had this teacher for stats before?? I haven't met anyone who has, and can't find any reviews online about him either. I'm concerned he might be a bad teacher - and am thinking about changing it to Stats 21 with Murali Stoyanov aka "Shob". I've read some decent reviews on her, anyone taken her class before? Is Stats 21 much more difficult/cut-throat than Stats 20 since its mostly business majors?</p>

<p>It'll also be my first sem at Cal...I'll be taking one of these stats classes, enveecon 100, calculus 2 (at cc if the dean approves), gpp 115 and a decal. How does this schedule look to you guys - is that a heavy load at all or pretty do-able?</p>

do you have any stats background? if you’re decent in math, it won’t matter what teacher you have, just learn from the book. just know how to solve problems to whatever tune the prof wants to play during midterms and finals.</p>

<p>ok thanks - yeah i think it could be doable…what made me apprehensive about it was that i would be taking a total of 18units my first semester - incl the 5 unit calc class at cc</p>
