I have no prior exposure to a stats class. Would you recommend that I take stats 20 (30% A's) or stats 21 (60% A's)? I'm a econ/business major.

As a side question, is stats 2 considered the easier one of the three?

Thank you.

Thank you.

… of course the one with more A’s… and since when was stats 21 60% A’s… lol
stats 2 you can’t take.

Any class with Stark is awesome.

Most other professors give 20-35% A’s, besides him.

Yeah for a pre-req I can’t take Stats 2 but it’s considered the easiest right?

not sure about the easiest…maybe it has an easier material? but curve might be brutal with the premeds.

w t f, where did you get that stats 21 is 60% A? I’m almost certain that both Perves and Ibser give 20% A 30% B 40% C and 10% N/P

aznn3rd: I got that info from Campusbuddy, but they don’t differentiate between N21 and 21, so I’m beginning to think that that’s the breakdown for N21…

Does anyone know the grade distributions for any stats 20 classes? can’t seem to find any, and now pickaprof charges.

If you’re an Econ/Haas student, definitely take N21 with Stark next summer. It’s hilariously easy (you just need to put in some time during the summer) - I’m currently at 115%+. And if you HAVE to take Stats with any other professor during the school year, go with Anderes. Everyone else gives out like 20ish% As…

Yup, I’m either taking N21 with Stark + CC classes (for breadths) next summer orrrrr 21 with Ibser this spring. Just donnnnn’t take Stats with Purves, lol.

Why can’t you take stats 2?
Can someone briefly describe the difference between stats 2, 20, and 21?
What do biology majors tend to take? I know it’s not required, but I want to take it.
I took AP stats in high school if that makes a difference.

Meh, it’s a bit late with me… I chose Stats 2.

But 20% A’s shouldn’t be that bad, I guess… Unless the curve is pretty bad…

Is this Stats 21 w/ Stark in the summer online every year??
