Does anyone know whether stats 350 will satisfy the statistics requirement for an econ major? The concentraion description does say that an upper level stats course will satisfy it...but i wanted to make sure.

Thanks

I don't think so. Stats 350 is the standard stats intro course. I think a lot of my friends are taking 400-level courses to satisfy that requirement (they're especially designed for finance).

You need at least 404. But if you took 350, you won't get credit for 404. If you're more into econ, try 405 and then 406. Top econ majors generally end up doing Stats 425/426 + Econ 406.
