Stats about the honors college?

Does the college offer some money for scores such as 1380?

Probably not, jplay5.

Uhhhh I got SAT scores (CR and math) lower than 1380 and I got full tuition... o_o

Did you take the ACT? If not, do so as Pitt converts them to the SAT equivalent (which could be higher than your actual SAT scores). I am sure they consider other factors besides just the scores.

If I make the cutoff for the ACT score (33) but not the SAT (1370) do you think they would still offer admission to the honors program if the other stats such as GPA were fine?

wow jobert we have the same exact scores. from what i've asked and read on this forum, Pitt converts the ACT scores. If i remember correctly someone said 32 = 1400 and 33 = 1450. And if you have a great GPA i would say you're in UHC for sure.

jobert - if it isnt too late, just send your score report for the ACT and not the SAT. i did that and i got in about a week after i applied with a 31

wow a week after you a applied? i know Pitt is rolling admissions, but that is a pretty quick response.

I just got accpeted to the honors college and I only have SATs of 1380. I applied really early September though, and it seems to me that the trend is early application= better benefits.

Yes, apply early -- the earlier the better. From reading previous posts, those with higher scores/stats who applies late have been denied admission or missed out on scholarships. And with the economy as it is -- I can see a higher percentage of students accepting scholarship offers.
