Sorry for the off-topic question, but:

Does anyone here feel, in a way, indifferent after seeing Columbia reject people who have much, much higher grades than you get rejected? It even makes you feel less bad about yourself lol.

not really i just worry my butt off lol…cuz im like holy cow if this kind of person gets rejected what the heck is columbia gonna think of me?
lol but thats just me…and remember, im paranoid? :D

People at my school with 2300 SATs, 98% (4.2) GPA, on teams (like the swim team) got rejected though QB…so I sort of became indifferent lol. I guess that’s a blessing. :)

Ahaha no prob Silence.
And yeah Axel, it’s probably a better way to increase stress, but let’s admit it: we’re all curious to see how we stack up on CC.
And lol, hopefully the adcoms will agree with you, Invisible. :P

holy camoly this makes me feel very very inferior.

my sat is 2200, i havent had any in-school leadership positions (except head of international festival decorations committee, and historian for an environmental club), most of my leadership lies outside of school in church youth band, volunteer work, and music stuff…

I’d stick with community college if I were you. Columbia has a strict cut-off SAT score of 2370. Anything less is literally unacceptable.
