thank you for saying that(: it’s just being on this forum is a little scary. so many talented kids, you know?
anyways, jw, if your counselor got a call from columbia for your current grades, youre looking at a deferral/maybe acceptance, right?

Lol, thanks. Though there are some very impressive stats in here, so I wouldn’t be sure…

So I was really bored so I looked at past years’ ED results threads…I looked at '11, ‘12’ and '14…couldn’t find '13. Anyway, I paid close attention to the results of 2350+ applicants, and 13 were accepted, 3 deferred, and only 1 rejected. That made me feel a little better haha. Not that it means anything at all :P

i don’t know if my counselor has gotten a call. if she has, she didn’t tell me, which frankly wouldn’t surprise me, and i’m way too afraid to ask, because i feel like, as a somewhat borderline case, my counselor not getting called would mean almost certain rejection.

Lol, what! I don’t know whether you saw, but on the previous page I said that I went through three of the last four ED results threads, and almost 80% of 2350+ applicants were accepted, and all of the rest except one were deferred. Of course, that doesn’t mean a whole lot, but you definitely can’t expect an “almost certain rejection.” Don’t be that negative. :)

^ you aren’t borderline! i honestly think youre going to be accepted. your stats are fab, and your rank is just fine. regardless, i wish you the best on december 9.
