For those who are receiving merit scholarships to Ursinus, what are your stats? What does someone need to be considered? What is the timeline for awarding merit scholarships?

Notified yesterday after interviewing by invitation on campus 2/24: $17,500 Ursinus College Scholar award, renewable for all four years with full time enrollment and maintenance of a modest GPA.

SATs 1990, did not take any SAT IIs, IB program with "Overall" GPA 3.75, "Academic" GPA 3.666 which puts her in the top third of her class at a large public HS. I don't know if the HS provides a "weighted" GPA to reflect the IB courses or whether colleges adjust her GPA up to reflect course choice.

I was notified yesterday. $17,500.

My SATs were 2210, GPA 4.0, weighted 4.3 (I'm not sure how my school weights it, but I'm all honors/AP). I'm 2/200-something.

I'm hoping for the Tower Scholarship, but I guess that's a no. Oh well.

DS was offered the Ursinus College Scholar award ($17,500). SAT 2080, SAT IIs 780, 780, 760, ACT 34, UW GPA 3.8.

I was notified today. $17,500/year as part of the Ursinus College Scholar Awards.

Stats are as follows: SAT 2100 (CR: 710, M: 680, W: 710). Unweighted GPA of 3.8 and weighted GPA of 4.28. SAT II scores of 750 (US History), 720 (English Literature), and 720 (Math I). I am 1/60 in class ranking; however, my school doesn't "officially" rank its students

I was notified today. $17,500/year as a Ursinus College Scholar.
Stats are: 88 average, probably about a 90 after senior year. 2050 (highest SATs from two attempts) 590-Math, 710- CR, 750-Writing

I was totally suprised, seeing as I didn't visit or interview. I certainly will visit soon though. Is it just me, or do my stats./apparent interest in Ursinus seem a bit on the low side for this scholarship?

Are they asking for a 3.0 to keep these awards?
