Does anyone know stats for OOS admitted students in the last 2 years? Any examples?

If you’re wondering about the SAT/ACT averages and GPAs of OOS students specifically, you’re out of luck; UVA not not publish separate stats for IS and OOS. On the other hand, if you’re simply wanting acceptance rates for OOS students, that information is available. (~22-24%, I believe, but you’d need to look it up to sure.)

Among the very competitive colleges, admissions can be unpredictable. You can’t rely too much on SAT scores. Apply to several, as well as some safeties where you could be happy and that are affordable.

OOS
SAT: CR 690/M 690/W760
SAT II: can’t really remember mid-high 600’s?

Stats show that you don’t have to be the Valeditorian but maybe have consistent involvement all four years with a passion for something.

Thanks so much Bayside for taking the time to answer. Glad you are happy at UVA!
