Stats from an anxious applicant!

<p>OK... so I go to a pretty good all-girls school in Canada and I'm probably in the top 10 or 15% but my school doesn't rank.</p>

<p>SAT Reasoning: 710 CR, 730 WR, 740 MA
SAT II: 720 Math II, 730 Spanish, 700 Bio M</p>

<p>All A+s... on student government, volunteer work at battered womens' shelter, canadian mental health association, african free trade society, and religious classes.</p>

<p>Awards: national chemistry association- 2nd place, society of canadian women in science and tech. award, regional science fair awards, math awards... and a few others i can't remember right now</p>

<p>ECs: Debate, Peer Tutoring, Art Club Activity Leader, Tennis</p>

<p>Plz...people...lemme know what you think my chances are!!!!!!!</p>

<p>HVRD people are crazy... there's no shoo - in (or is it shoe-in?) but your ecs and awards look amazing! Good Luck! I hope you get in !!!</p>

<p>I hope you get in too! I think all those Science and Math awards will really help you stand out...I really wish I could find ways to get awards haha, I absolutely love history, but I don't know if there are any awards for that!!</p>

<p>thanks shazzy for the feedback... i'm sure there's a way to win some history awards... are there any history contests that you can participate in around your area?... we have quite a few in canada, but i take it you live in the us right?</p>

<p>a great way to win some history awards would be to participate in the National History Day competition sponsored by the Constitutional Rights Foundation (same group that does Mock Trial). I won local and county levels, with the Geography Award at the California State History Day.</p>

<p>Yes, Crazy Cookie I'm in the US...still trying to research some of these history contests! Unfortunately a lot of them are fall/winter due dates, so I wouldn't be able to put them on an application, but we'll see!</p>

<p>ahh I just read the website more thoroughly and realized that you have to start the contest regionally, and I missed the deadline ahh! So stressed out right now. </p>
