Stats, Math or Econ minor?

Was planning what courses to take and was wondering if anyone knows which one is most highly regarded by employers when in conjunction with a finance degree (possible marketing). Which would be most useful when I start working too? Relative difficulty of each (I'm guessing Math > Stats > Econ)? Any input is appreciated, thanks.

I think it would depend on what you want to do, but I think the usefulness would be ranked in the same order as you have the difficulty. Math is more highly regarded than Stats is more highly regarded than Econ.

Why are you considering these minors though? Are you looking to get into Quant Finance? If so you should definitely focus a lot more on Math and CS. If you’re looking to do the same Investment Banking stuff like all the other finance specializations, then I don’t think any of those minors matter.

I would 1a/1b Math/Stats. Econ last

Thanks for the input guys. As for why these minors, its just that I have a keen interest in these areas and these are some of my strengths. I think I am going to go for math but thats going to be quite a lot of work. Will be worth it I guess
