Stats needed to get into upenn Wharton

What would a person need on act Gpa rank co curriculars ect to get in?

Well you need to take Calculus in high school, an ACT of 30 to 34 (midrange pored on Wharton admission statistics page), and your high school grades and course rigor are the number one thing they look at. The overall acceptance rate is ~14%, but about 30% for Early Decision.

Demonstration of community service, interest in Business as a major, etc. will improve your chances.

Thank you very much

You’ll want 34+ act, 3.95+ UW gpa, top 1-2%, and good leadership, service, essays.

probably 2300 sat, good ec’s and stuff

Yikes that Gpa and percentile is not happening

There’s a couple other business schools with HUGE names and a bit easier to get into at least.

What are those?

What are those? Bump*

other business schools (undergraduate) that are well regarded - UVa definetely! Notre Dame, Michigan, MIT, Berkeley to name a few

chance me?

also I should add, I was just at Wharton for a summer program (M&TSI, if you’ve heard of it) it was a fairly competitive program (<20% acceptance) what I noticed was that everyone there had a 2250+ with probably 60% above the 2300 mark. The GPAs were high to say the least (I would say max 1B+ on the lower transcripts). And the ECs were good - don’t feel too threatened, only a few had actually started businesses, but leadership was common in and out of school. Anyway, Wharton is an amazing place if you love business - so I wish you luck with whatever you decide to do.

Thanks I don’t think my scores are up to that standard. Like a 3.85 Gpa and 33 act. What would be a school like in between uwisconsin Madison and upenn?

NYU Stern.

You are very, very welcome.

Stats needed fr that?

If you can pull around 3.70+ and at least 2200, that seems to be the norm for a lot of Stern kids.

Aight sweet I gotta 3.85 and 32 on act. Does a 32 translate to that?

Well I’m not saying that it’s an auto shoo in if you reach those scores, and I know nothing more than the next guy who’s applying to Stern (FYI I’m applying this year), but 32 seems fine.

Ya I know it’s not auto for sure at a place like that I’m just saying
