Stats of A/D/R

I know BrightEyes was accepted (congrats!!) but what were her stats?

Post whether you’re accepted/deferred/rejected and your stats for the rest of our (and posterity’s) sake!

Good luck girls!!

I got a call from my admissions officer [Anne Louie :)] a couple hours ago and I'm in! Huzzah!

I hope to see you all at BMC next year! All the best!

Ahh, you are killing me!

And you missed the point of this thread...what are your stats?

Stats shmats! It would take me a while to regurgitate my entire application, but I will say that admissions officers look at the entire package. No one thing can admit you and no one thing can deny you. Keep your chin up -- you've still got a week left!

hey, what area are you from? i'm from new jersey...

do they call everyone who gets in ED?

I'm from Texas.

Yeah, they call everyone who gets in, period. EDI, EDII & RD!

Or at least they did last year.

I'm from Columbus, btw.

That's a nice touch! Well I think its nice that they consider everything- especially 4 someone like me who isn't a great SAT taker...

I'm from Delaware, I posted my stats on the "class of 2009 hopefuls" thread.
I got "the call" last night and am so happy...I can't wait to meet you all!

I'm still waiting for "the call" and I really hope I get to meet you all!

I'm in!!!!!!!!!!!
I got the call tonight :-)

See you next year gals...

Congratulations!!! I hope wolfstar gets in too :).

Well I guess that means I'm out...

Deferred, most likely. Ah well :(.

Thanks michele, and everyone else.

sorry about your probable misfortune wolfstarslasher...I know I don't post here ever...but I can't resist cheering on my fellow Ohioans, especially those of Columbus, my city as well

Thanks Celebrian :).

When it's your turn for college, I'll be rooting for you too! :D

Wolfstarlasher, was Anne Louie your admissions person? Because she was mine and bmcsweetie's, so maybe each admission counselor has a choice whether or not to call. If you have a different admissions person reading your application, maybe they're just not calling people yet. Don't worry and good luck!!!

Okay...I just checked my email and my regional admissions person was Tiffany Grexa. So...maybe you're right?

I want to believe it, I do, but it just isn't practical. Now I just have to wait until Tuesday or so to see if it's rejection or deferrment.

I was pretty upset yesterday, but I'm okay now. I have friends who were rejected to Brown, Columbia and UPenn, so maybe we'll have a pity party or something :).

Thanks for all the support you guys, I really appreciate it. I really hope to see you all next August!

I vowed i would not read this board as the fifteenth approached, and what do i do? read it anyway to see brighteyes's unexpected post. while i was happy to see some good news, i immediately freaked out, had a horrible weekend. I felt really good about my chances but my spirit was crushed. but good news came yesterday (in the mail, no phone call mind you :) )! what a relief. sorry wolfstarlasher :( but i'm sure you'll get in plenty of other great schools!

Thanks!

Now back to what I actually set up this thread for...

Applied EDI to Bryn Mawr: rejected.

GPA: 3.4
Rank: top 30%(?) I think this + gpa was my downfall
SATI: 700V, 640M
SAT II: 780/680/640 (writing, US history, lit)
ECs: Lots of music
Model UN
Volunteer
and some more but this is the main stuff.

Okay guys, I probably won't post too much on this board anymore since it is the only college in the world I know I can not attend, but I'll be in and out.

See you around, good luck everyone! :D

Thanks wolfstarslasher! See you around as well good luck
