<p>Someone on another thread suggested we start this...so I will..cause I'm cool like that. Just post accepted or not, state, sat, gpa, and some ECs. </p>

other- my uncle's best friend is a prof. at wake, and he wrote me a recc. other reccs should have all been pretty good.</p>

<p>sooo excited! It's down to Wake Forest and Boston College, but I need to hear from BC first. I would definitly go to Wake Forest!! Congrats to everyone else that got in! I knew it was probably in the mail today, so I refused to look at the pile of mail as I carried it inside until I was all calmed down sitting at the kitchen table. Then I saw the "Welcome to Wake Forest" envelope! So cool!!</p>

other- My essays probably helped a lot, for juniors I would recommend putting a ton of effort into them if you are serious about Wake. I also interviewed and occasionally emailed an admission counselor expressing my interest, which also helped quite a bit.</p>

Other: I was sure my test scores would hurt me, but there's hope for any of you with border line scores! I spent a lot of time on my essays, sent art slides, visited, sent an update letter, and I most likely will be attending Wake in the fall.</p>

<p>Ns, my highest math score (of three sittings!) is below the 50% percentile. That's what I was worried about. And schools don't usually take the writing section into consideration. Anyway, two other students from my school got in, but they won't be going. That means I can bum 2 extra car stickers! :)</p>
