Accepted to Binghamton, Stony Brook (2500/yr scholarship), and New Paltz (offered a place in Honors College). Those are all the SUNYs I applied to. I currently attend Binghamton, which I love.

Thanks :), I wish more people would be as helpful as you guys :(

D2 had 1900/2100 SAT and a 94.5 or so GPA. She was accepted ED at the school she now attends in PA., and withdrew or never finished her other applications. She was still guaranteed acceptance spring semester for Geneseo.

My S, a few yrs back, had a 1400/1600 SAT and a 96 or 97 average (ranked 8th out of 145 or so??). Can’t remember the specifics. (Also never was told for either kid the weighted vs. non GPA, and they each were in honors or advanced classes and college classes) He was accepted at both Binghamton and Geneseo. One of them offered something–an honors program or a scholarship? He attended neither.

I applied to three SUNYs: Binghamton, Buffalo, and Stony Brook. I got into all three and the honors program for Buffalo and Stony Brook. I think its fairly easy to get into these schools. I had a 92 average, a 2220 SAT, mid-700s on my SAT2s and pretty decent extracurriculars.
I have some friends who also applied to these schools and got in with less than spectacular stats. My friend got into Buffalo with a 90 average, a 2000 SAT and average extracurriculars. I know someone who got into Stony Brook with a 80 average, a 1760 SAT, and almost no extracurriculars.

Damn ^ about the kid who got in with a 80 avg o.o

Thanks guyss
