Stats of the Accepted

I'm just curious as to what types of students are generally being admitted to Case, as they seem to have a unique application/admission rate

SAT: 2000 (710 M, 620 CR, 670 W)
GPA: 3.7(UW) 4.7(W)
Rank: Not sure but i think really bad
4 years of soccer(3 Varsity) and 4 years of wrestling
NHS
maryland distinguished alumni
a couple random clubs
volunteer at hospital

1980 ( 680 M 670 V 630 W)
GPA: 3.84 uw
rank: 28/822
EC's ...decent not great

honors program at BU's business school...36k in grants as opposed to 32 from case

SAT: 2090 (720 M, 700 CR, 670 W)

I was fairly disappointed with Case's scholarship offer. It's not going to cost me that much more to go to my first choice school (Vanderbilt).

SAT: 1850 (610cr, 630w, 610m) first time/1870 (670cr, 620w, 580m)

ECs: a few things at church, 2 years of JV lacrosse, few meaningless clubs,

I'm likely coming here. Still not sure though.

Yeah, Case's Merit Scholarships are very specific down to SAT scores and class rank, etc. I think the reason I didn't get the one I expected to get because of my SAT scores—not bad, by any means, just not outstanding.

Your ACT was very good. They don't take that instead?

I thought they would, being in the Midwest, but with my ACT score, I don't know what would have prevented me from getting the highest merit scholarship. Compared to my friends who did get that scholarship, my ACT was either the same or even higher, but my SAT scores were about 100-200 pts down =/

You win some, you lose some. But I basically have full tuition to case, or close to it.
