<p>i wasn't even aware that there was a "michigan gpa". why on earth wouldn't they count honors and ap classes? i find that incredibly stupid. so people who took a risk with much harder classes and got B's in them get off the same as those who took slack classes and got A's? oh well, it doesn't change my gpa but that just annoys me.</p>
<p>Don't be too hard on Michigan. The school does not believe in weighted GPAs because they vary from school to school. But Michigan does take strength of curriculum into consideration. In fact, it is as important a factor as the "Michigan GPA".</p>
