Stats of those rejected

<p>damn, i really thought i could get in. </p>

<p>SATs: 1410 / 2030 (800M, 610 CR, 620 W)
GPA: 3.03 UW (extremely difficult public school)
SATIIs: 710 MATH IIC / 600 CHEM</p>

<p>ECs: Good stuff, too lazy to type it all out. </p>

<p>i really should have gotten a deferral at most. oh well, at least i got into case western.</p>

<p>It seems to me the admissions decisions are a crapshoot. My stats are lower then yours yet i was waitlisted at CAS. However, i got rejected from my top choice which is easier to get into then BU. Admissions are just crazy. The Guidence department at my school told me i would Probably Get rejected from BU, and get into U maryland. Needless to say they were way wrong.</p>

<p>well... i didn't get rejected... but i think that being waitlisted feels worse</p>

<p>I don't know what they're deal was but I wasn't really considering BU much after I got accepted to UCSB and others.</p>

<p>i put my stats in the other thread. i got into usc and ucsd so far, waitlisted at wellesley. so not looking at bu anyways :/</p>

<p>hrhcow, thanks for giving me hope... i got into UCSD but i havent heard from USC.. i got waitlisted at BU, but i didn't want to go here anyway.. aggh i hope i hear from SC soon</p>

<p>I know 2 people that got in with 1650/2400 on their SATs, but really good GPA's. Both are international students.</p>
