Stats Only - USC Decisons 2009

If you don't have the status update at this point I think one of two scenarios could be in play:

There was an issue with the update system and your letter is in the mail and should arrive tuesday/wednesday (unlikely)

You're in the next batch of applicants that will be receiving their update probably sometime in the middle of this week (going by what happened last week).

Last year there were people getting letters up to the second week of February that became scholarship candidates. It comes in batches, just because yours didn't come in the first batch is no real cause for alarm. The ONLY death sentence as far as scholarships goes is if you receive a letter saying you were not eligible for any of them around the middle to late February. There is no relation any of us can make on whether the first candidates will be Presidential/Trustee or whether different updates mean different things, they do not send their acceptances based on the scholarship you received (this is an assumption based on last year's results).

qzar...by status update do you mean oasis link? because i got the update on the 21st but not 24th. i live in norcal and still no letter =(

thanks for the reassurance, qzar- i am in the same position as other previous posters- Norcal girl- status not updated since 12/4 and REALLY expecting some kind of scholarship recognition. i will just have to sit tight i guess

Hi--reminder: this thread is for Stats only. It makes it easier for future applicants to see who got in. Please move this chat to the status thread. thx!
