General Comments, scholarship chances, status info, going to USC...?:
I am not going to USC- and I'm not to shy to say it's because they showed no appreciation for me whatsoever in the form of merit-based aid. Not gonna lie: after some of the interest other schools have shown, I was shocked that I supposedly didn't make the top 1,000 applicants that were interviewed for scholarships. But I know acceptance is something . . .

If I haven't received an acceptance letter by tomorrow (March 19, 2009), does that pretty much mean that I have a really low chance of getting in? Is there going to be another wave of acceptance letters? USC says that they give out acceptance letters until April 1st... but I really don't think they'll be getting them to people in the March 20's... Anyways I'm really scared because I want to get in so bad, and most of the people that have posted "Accepted" on this thread all have mostly over 2100's on their SATs. Anyways, any informative answers would be great =).

Ganwokakeru, go look at the thread I just created. :)

General Comments, scholarship chances, status info, going to USC...?: So ****ing excited! After getting rejected by UCLA yesterday, this was amazing news. Now I feel so much better. fUCLA, I'm gonna be a Trojan! FIGHT ON!!!
Definitely my first choice, but I do need to see my financial aid award letter before sending enrollment deposit. I have a twin brother entering college at the same time and my parents are in a bad financial state (mom lost job) so I'm gonna need some aid. But I am prepared to talk to the finanaid counselors to try and get as much as possible.
And to those of you who havent heard yet: have faith. I was rapidly losing faith as well, but here I am, sitting with an acceptance letter. Good luck to all!

I have an obligation to do this because I've been watching this blog for a while..
