Stats?

Anyone here who was admitted that could post their stats? I'm an American high school student with Canadian citizenship, does this help me at all in the admissions factor?

hey, I got admitted to Queens yesterday. I go to a french school tho so my stats wnt rly help you out. lol. But i have a friend in the same situation as you and yes your citizenship will definatly help you out. Good luck!

I just got admitted last week! Pretty excited.

not sure how many people even check this lol, but i got in recently with a 90% average....canadian school. i also got the Excellence Scholarship, $2500. i'm so excited!

I'm right now deciding between attending Queens next year or going to a school in America.

which school?

Mary Washington in Virginia.

well good luck with your choice!

lol i'm glad that someone else on this forum is considering queen's.

Hey:

So I'm also an American student who applied to Canadian colleges. I recently received an offer from Queens University for the Arts and Sciences faculty and I just told them that I would accept their offer. Did you decide to go there?

yes, i'll be at Queen's this fall. i haven't accepted their offer yet, i just need to iron some stuff out about scholarships, but then i'm definitely accepting. which other schools did you apply to, in either Canada or the US?

i wish more people would be able to give more insight in queen's on this forum! it's a hard time deciding. i got in queen's with $10000 principal's award. that was a pleasant surprise!

i know, it sucks about the lack of activity on this forum. my brother goes there and i've visited a bunch of times, so you can ask me any questions if you like...or there's also a really good forum about Canadian universities at forums.studentawards.com , there are a lot of reaaaaally helpful people there. it's not QUITE as intense as CC, lol but if you want to know more about Queen's, read that site.

btw, just be aware that there are far more "trolls" on that site than there are here...there are a few people who kinda spread propaganda, but they're outweighed by the genuinely helpful people.
