for all those who were accepted or denied or recieved any information about their application; did anything change on the status.binghamton.edu website? i have been waiting since october and nothing so far :/

So you applied early action? You should have seen a change on the status checker. I applied early action and was deferred to the regular decision pool. I’m now waiting to see if I’ve been accepted for regular decision. When I was deferred the Application Status line changed to Decision Made, and on the next line it said, Decision: Deferred to Reg Consideration.

If your status hasn’t changed at all since October, you should call the Office of Admissions.

i did call and all they said was that i have to wait because there was a problem with my application -__-

Well, at least they will now address it. Stinks that you had to bring it to their attention though. I haven’t been impressed with Bing’s administrative capabilities.

@which it will be, i got the same message as you, but i am confused as to wat it means…are we deneid or still in the running?

@whichwillitbe*

@knicksman94, if I understand your question correctly, you wondering what Decision: Deferred to Regular Consideration means. That means that we didn’t “make the cut” for early acceptance as an early action candidate, so now our applications are being considered along with all the other people who applied regular decision. Some people who applied regular decision have already received acceptance notices. Some have received rejection notices. And a whole bunch of us are still waiting to hear. According to Binghamton, all decisions will be mailed by April 1, so you should definitely hear shortly after, if not earlier.

In other words, we are still in the running!

So, it’s 3/15. Any chance we’ll hear something from Bing today??

I got an email last night, denied from Harpur, but they’re sending my application to be reviewed by CCPA.

scratch that, just checked my status on the website and I’ve been accepted through CCPA :]

@sophiesrsly–Congrats!!!

what’s CCPA?

CCPA is the College of Community and Public Affairs. It’s just another college within Binghamton like the School of Management or School of Engineering.

congrats @sophiesrsly i am still waiting >:(
