I know someone else asked this on another thread, but they never got a reply. If you got the status change message, but not with a message from a current UP student, does that automatically mean you were rejected?

No. Mine got the former, not the latter.

Whistle Pig --Thanks for the quick reply. We'll see what happens!

I'm pretty sure that if you don't get the message, you don't get in. I didn't get a person and I didn't get in. Plus, if you look on the site and click on "offered admission," it says that if you want to talk to a student, just log into your account and there will be a person to email on there.

It could also mean that you did not get into your first choice campus....

i got my letter of aceptance about two weeks ago to UP, does it still say you will receive a letter in the mail under app staus forever or does it change to something else?

My D was accepted months ago and the message about the letter in the mail remains the same.

I got accepted to UP in november and my status still says that a decison has been made and the letter is in the mail.

^ahahhahahhahah

so i didn't get in to main last week but got altoona, and i didn't get that message when my app changed over, but now its there

i applied in late november (NMF, APw/D, etc), and just recieved my acceptance to UP this saturday.
i was worried because there was no contact info or anything on my webpage, but i did get in.
moral of the story: don't fret over the message on your webpage.
