My cousin logged into Wolverine Access and noticed there was a slight change in status. When he clicks on Application Status, he saw the following:

Admit Term: FA 2010
Academic Career: Undergraduate LS&A
Academic Program: Lit, Science and Arts UG Degree

What does that mean? He is confused as am I. Aren't rejected students usually told that a letter is in the mail and accepted students sent an email telling them that they are accepted? He was not told that a decision was sent my mail and he did not receive an email.

I always remember seeing extra headlines such as Application Date, etc… when clicking on application status. I also have the same information as your cousin, I don’t think it means anything at all because from what I can remember those headings have always been there. I think Admit term may be identifying with the term one wants to be admitted.

By the way, I have recently contacted the admission office, and they said that fianal decision would be released no later than mid-April…

I feel really bad for they seem to be releasing all the decisions together, which means it will most probably be a waitlist…Did anyone get accepted at the very last moment(mid April), last year?

And this time are they going to post the waitlist decision online? Or just by snail mail, and only acceptances are online again?

There was a thread last year, a handful of deferrels were accepeted and a large amount waitlisted. I don’t remember reading about rejections, but all the rejections that I can recall were only released in April.
