status change?

haha, cool, thanks

gomets i really think ur going to get in.

thanks, I hope.

what are you guys stats?

I posted them in it’s own thread, just too lazy to retype, sorry

3.61 weighted with 1170 SAT. 8 ap/honors and a family of alumni.

3.53 and 1130/1600

yea mines out of 1600 too

3.6 w with 27 (1230 SAT) sounds 50-50, whats your unweighted?

my school does not give it .. nd i didnt have a 1230 SAT i had a 1160 SAT

I was talking about Gomets, he’ll prob get in

i applied summer

oh lol sorry .. what do u think of my chances for summer?

I meant 3.6 UW, I just suck at typing. My school doesn’t give W to us, but they send it to colleges, go figure

Oh, and summer also

Just for summer? If so you should get in, its really a toss up, sometimes they take students with mediocre stats and sometimes they dont, with 10,000 people per year its just luck occasionally.

EDIT: gomets, you should definitely get in then, I wouldnt worry, as long as you had a somewhat difficult courseload and EC’s.

mg..do u live in the state college area?

i know i posted my stats before but with a 3.5 GPA ( I didn’t take any AP courses since this year and honors aren’t waited at my school so i don’t have a “weighted score”) a 1160 SAT work experience and some other volunteering and ecs. i have some alumni but my mom was the only one i could put on the app (seeing as they only asked for mom dad bro sis gma gpa) and i applied for summer session. what do ya think?

I live upstate NY, around Cooperstown I just happen to know a lot about it, my mother went to PSU.

yea and ur location says penn state university. ..

anyway do you know if they take alumni into consideration because with my mediocre grades, 8 ap classes, and average gpa i was hoping my alumni , summer study at penn state, and applying for summer session would push me a little over the buble.

do u think im qualified for summer?
