Really? I dont think we should be nervous.

who knows there are such things ask flukes..thats what scares me.

Just so everyone knows, they are a little behind on posting. I checked saturday night before i went to bed very late and nothing. i know they dont work on sundays but i checked sunday for the heck of it and it said that they made a decision the previous friday (1/18). it was mailed out on friday and not even updated untill sunday. if it was in the middle of the week, i would have just got my acceptance without even seeing an update, so beware!

im pretty sure they’ve already done all their rejections. now it’s all accepteances from here. ( i think )

as for me, i am OFFICIALLY going to altoona. not too happy about it, but hey it happened for a reason

Thats what I’ve been told also, where did you hear this from though? And does that prove that applying DUS is the best way to go because it is the easiest to get into?

waiiit courtney where did you hear that?

yeah whered you hear that!?

i really do not believe that at all. its impossible. kids with pretty low stats from my school have not found out yet. we all only have to wait one more week! pheww. I feel like we are all in the same range here.

If it makes you feel better, they have around 10,000 spots for people to fill, and they take much more than that because not everyone is going to go to PSU.

yea but theyve prob accepted most of them alerady.. wait and why is the numer so high this year?

They have around 10,000 people per year attend.

do you know how may spots from out of PA they take? I have to assume at least 2/3rds are from Pennsylvania.

does anyone one know how competitive the communications program is? my stats arent real high:
3.54 GPA
600 Critical Reading
560 Math
580 Writing
do you think i should switch to undecided?

communications isnt a difficult program to enter, i would just stick with it, i believe you have to hear by the 31st, you should get in. switching now wont do anything except frustrate them

okay thanks for the input- I’ve been waiting three months now as im sure many of you are too and im just DYING!

did u apply summer and before nov 30th?

yup they received everything by november 1 and i applied for summer

its not reallly a fact, im just sayin that is what i have observed. the kids who i know that havent heard back are all kids that i know will definitely get in .. and people who have recently heard back have all gotten in.

didnt mean to start anything it was just an observation haha

Still nervous though, I hope I get in!
