Just checked DS status (he was deferred in December) and now the major is gone and status is saying complete. Looks like the computer loaded his status. The wait is killing me!

I wonder if the grey box thing works for Regular Admissions? He still has the grey box.

Yeah, the same thing happened with my status. I applied regular to Computer Engineering. The major slot is gone and it says that the status is complete. The decisions are still coming out on February 15th correct?

This seems pretty similar to what was experienced during the days leading up to the early decisions being released. See around the top of p. 3 of the thread below. The conclusion back then was that the status change didn’t mean anything other than the university was getting ready to load the decisions and needed to make some changes to the website.

I just checked mine too and the intended major is gone…For the early decision thread people’s majors disappeared two days before the decisions were going to come out. Is it possible that they will release admissions a week early?

Wait but on the days leading up to the EA decision notification my status didn’t change (i would know because i checked daily) and i was deferred…now it changed to complete.

Did you guys who were deferred have this same thing happen to you back in december?

I got deferred in December too. My status says “complete” and there’s a grey box that says "Your application is complete.
Review your SRAR and test scores. "

OK guys, no need to panic. If you followed tonypa’s link, you can see that this is not an issue. This happens with everyone’s application, regardless of the eventual decision.
