Ok so I just checked my D's application and her status changed from "we would like more time to consider your application.... Deferred." to today's message which says "your application is complete and is ready for review." Did anyone else get this message? What does this mean? I'm hoping it is a good sign because her major did not change (it's College of Media - Advertising) so that leads me to believe that she either got into COM or got denied but is not being considered for DGS. Is that how you all would interepret this?

Also, someone told me that all applications for COM were either denied or deferred but no acceptances on the December admissions date? Can anyone verify this? I keep looking at the posts here but have not found anyone that was accepted into College of Media.

I just checked mine and my status changed from being deferred to the same thing! It also says my application is still for biology in LAS. Is this a bad or good thing??

I got in priority admission and everyone debated the same thing. and as it turned out it seemed like everyone who had that grey box that said your application is complete and is ready for review got accepted.

I remember that for early decisions if the grey box was still there, it meant that you were deferred/rejected/etc. (all my friends who’s grey box disappeared got accepted). Do you think if we still have that box we didn’t get in? :(

keep your hopes up but this grey box disappearing held true for everyone I knew and people who got deferred or denied also held true as well for priority admission. just have to have hope that maybe it doesn’t mean anything

I am hearing conflicting things here…Illinifan said that the grey box that says “Your application is complete and ready for review” means acceptance. But Ananymouse says that if you have the grey box it means you are probably rejected?
I know none of this is official, but can someone try to clarify this for me?
Thanks

Is that grey box still on your application?

Sorry about the confusion. I’m not 100% sure that if the grey box is still there it means a rejection. It’s just that for priority admission all my friends that still had that box by the time of the decision releases were all rejected, while everyone who’s box disappeared were accepted. :(
