Undergraduate Application (Part II, Fall 2009)
We received the fall grades we requested, and require no additional information at this time. We will mail decisions to freshman applicants by April 1st.

I though everyone (who didn’t get a scholarship) was asked for their grades? I mean the letter that I got months ago said that USC had already notified the scholarship winners, but that there were still many more acceptances to come in march… and at the end it said to submit our midyear grades if we hadn’t already.
I submitted them, but I didn’t get that update.

I have a different message but same date as you. And even though they got my mid-year report, I never had that update before.

Mine just says:

Application Status:

The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.

I had that first update, “We’ve received your grades” blah blah blah, on 2/3 (I submitted the grades the day they requested them), but I got another update on 3/16, to the “in review” bit. Hope that’s a good thing…

Actually, the letter that told you about that you didn’t get the scholarships tolf you to submit your senior grades from your “first marking period”. If you are on a four quarter schedule like me, then that means first quarter grades, and the mid-years would be second quarter.
Only one person did receive a request at my school, and that request was separate from the scholarship letter. So, I don’t believe they ask for everyone’s mid-years, and if they did want them, you would have received another letter, other than the scholarship one.

i did not get scholarship, got notification letter of the same in feb. it did ask about sending mid year report. I sent those in. no change in status until recently. i got status update 3/18, followed by 3/20 second update.

Hmmm…
Yeah they sent me a letter specifically requesting my mid-year report. This is separate than the letter about the scholarship notification. I just haven’t seen anyone post a status like mine do I was curious.

if you sent them in like in january, of course they aren’t going to request your mid-year report. they see everyone’s midyear except for those up for scholarships.
