I live in NY and just received the financial aid letter today but I never received the “no scholarship letter”. Does anybody know which was sent first and how far ahead one letter was sent than the other, I’m wondering if I should call the admissions office to see if I was supposed to receive the letter and it was lost in the mail or if I’m not going to receive the letter. Thanks

cdr77, is it the one reminding you to fill out paperwork for financial aid or the one that is really addressed to your parents about “paying for college?”

Because I got the postcard reminding me to apply for financial aid about two weeks before I got the “no scholarship” letter, and then I got the “paying for college” letter the day after I got the “no scholarship” letter.

the “paying for college” letter/booklet was sent 3 days before the ‘no scholarship’ letter, but I received my “paying for college” letter 1 business day after I received my ‘no scholarship’ letter.

I got the Paying for College booklet Thursday, but still no letter. So who knows?

Does anyone have any idea what NOT receiving the no scholarship letter means?? I would think it was lost in the mail, but my mail guy is pretty awesome. Also, several other people at my school, and someone in my same major has gotten the letter, but I haven’t… any conjectures?

oxolojo, I got the postcard a couple weeks ago, what I received today was the envelope with the letter and small brochure “paying for college”. Elle I’m kind of in a different situation about the mailman we just got a new mailman a couple months ago but recently for the past like 2 weeks we constantly get other people’s mail and so I’m starting to worry that my mail is being given to somebody else, if I don’t get the “no scholarship” letter by wed/thurs should I call the admission office and ask?? Also nobody else from my school applied to USC so I have no way of asking if anybody else got the letter.
