"The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.

Status not available"

Haven't received mail and want to know if anyone who has been accepted has this on their USConnect.

Now it changed to "The University of Southern California is pleased to offer the ability of students to receive online messages regarding the status of their application. However, all decision notifications are made via postal mail.

The committee has acted on your application, and we have mailed notice of the decision. If for some reason you do not receive our written notice, we will be happy to provide the results of this over the phone beginning April 3rd."

@gladiatorbird or anyone else: did yours also change to this?

i live around 30 minutes from usc. i didn’t get anything as well.
some kids in my school got their acceptance letters today, some others got their rejection letters. so i don’t know why i haven’t heard back yet.

I think the fact that some received rejection letters gives us a bit of hope…that means that they didn’t send out all the acceptances and then plan to notify rejected students later.

Gahh this is torture! Good luck, though!

I still want to ask everyone though my original question. Does anyone that has been officially rejected have this on their USConnect?

If memory serves me correctly, they did the same thing last year with USConnect and my S received notification via mail after people living further away, since he lived locally in Orange County CA. For those getting accepted, it is quite an impressive mail piece. Good luck to all.

illinoisman: This is what is on accepted son’s USCconnect, Admission tab, when he clicks on Application Status Check:

His page does not include the second paragraph you noted. (?)

It changed this afternoon. His acceptance envelope arrived, mid-day, today, also. We are in OC, Southern CA. Our mail tends to arrive a day early b/c we have PO pick up only (which often shaves a day off delivery time b/c it does not come to our house).
