So I just checked my application status on my MyUW page and it just changed to:

"We have received all materials required to review your application. Your application will remain in this status until decisions are finalized. We will inform you by postal mail when a decision is made." (Jan. 3rd)

from: "Awaiting review".

Should I be expecting a letter soon? is there a time frame for a letter coming?

I feel like I have a pretty good chance of getting in and I REALLLLLY want my letter so I don't have to do any other applications haha:

3.77 uw GPA, from the top public HS in WA state.
SAT: 610 CR, 670 M, 580 W, --1860 cum. (single taking)
good ECs I feel: 10 years 4-H, 10 years drum lessons/performing, piano lessons etc...

I would say definitely a good shot at UW. Check out the Unofficial Transcript Load thread for more info on finding out your status. Here is a reply I found to your letter question. I read somewhere that the letters come about a week or so later.

"Your status will change to reviewed"
"When your status says that everything is received, it's too early. You need to wait until your status changes to reviewed before it will load."

Since your status says that your materials have been "received" and not that they've been "reviewed", you're still early for the transcript load or a letter. They are getting a ton of applications to go through.

Once you have your MyUW set up, there's a link on your "homepage" that says something like "Freshman 2009 Application..." and it should be there.
