My daughter applied to Rowan on 10/28, along with a handful of other schools. The Common App allows the applicant to see which schools subsequently downloaded the app and all supplemental materials … and when they downloaded it. All the other schools downloaded the app right away. Rowan is still showing as submitted … not downloaded.
Who else has applied? Has Rowan downloaded your app?

Same here, not downloaded yet. I questioned admissions and they said they were still working on spring admissions.
Thanks @Rosebud98. This is my third kid going to college and Rowan’s admission process (if they have one) is the least transparent one I’ve seen.
@mtown27 this is ridiculous, our kids put in the effort to get their applications in early, the least Rowan could do is download it. I made my daughter apply to Rowan because it is a state school and it is pretty big, which she wants. I was never impressed with it when we toured with my older daughter, it was spring break in NJ and they were so unprepared for the amount of people that showed up even though we had registered. Would love for her to go to TCNJ like her sister who will be graduating in May but she wants nothing to do with it.
Totally agreed @rosebud98. One of my daughter’s older brothers is a freshman at TCNJ. Great school. But daughter wants Chemical Engineering … that’s knocks out TCNJ and explains why Rowan got an app (Rowan has build a compelling engineering program in a short period of time). But she’s already been accepted to two schools (UDel and Manhattan) and is waiting on two others (Rutgers and UMBC) that she expects to hear from in a couple of days.
So, yeah. 8-|
Accepted to Manhattan too, also accepted to Rider, Unv of New Haven, Johnson & Wales. Waiting for UDel, Penn State, UConn and UMass.

We applied possibly in early October, while we received acceptance from other colleges, but we didn’t hear from Rowan. I called them in late November and was told they wouldn’t look at them until mid-December (if you were to look into their web page, they processed Spring admittance until November), therefore it sounds about right…
I also looked into the previous CC posts, it seems that they released some acceptance letter in late December, I hope to see some news by next week.
My daughters Rowan app was downloaded on 12/16 also. We haven’t received a confirmation email yet. She has been accepted to UDelaware’s engineering program and offered a scholarship. Has anyone heard from Rowan yet?? Admissions office is closed till January 3rd when they reopen we will follow up.

at of all schools we applied to only one not to get back to us…so annoying
they are much slower than most state schools in getting back…my daughter now wants to do to other since they are offering her more and got back much quicker

Yes, my son was accepted today. He applied 11/26 but as other posters have mentioned, it didn’t show as “downloaded” from Common App until 12/16

his GPA is 3.8 and his SAT was 1930 (old version).
