I ask because I am deciding on whether it is worth informing admissions on the fact that I was nominated a Jefferson Scholar, have moved on to the regional interview stage, have been accepted into the state General Assembly page program, and completed a research thesis that I mentioned in my application. <p>Final decisions have not been made yet. There are still about 4 weeks before we get decisions for UVA, so even if they have made your specific decision, there would be no issue changing it at this time. </p>
<p>Dean J has mentioned in her blog that their decision process is completely separate from the Jefferson Scholar process. I remember last year there were a few Jefferson Scholar candidates who were deferred in early action, at least that’s what they said.</p>
