<p>for some reason the check status page says that they haven't received the transcript, counsel rec... and sec school report</p>
<p>Everything was submitted around jan 1st... i used the commonapp and i created my account online on feb. 15th. i didn't bother to click on the check status link until today... i'm pretty sure they have those 3 materials.. if they don't, would they have informed me? b/c i haven't been informed of any missing materials.</p>

<p>If they really dont have the transcripts, you should send them ASAP...They could possibly treat your file as a wait-list or even (if they really like you) they could make an immediate decision...</p>
<p>I know how incompetent schools can be...my new school "accidentally" changed one of my grades from a B+ to a B- when I changed schools...I know that isnt nearly as bad as your problem, but it still really sucked...They sent the incorrect transcript to Duke when I applied early...ugh...</p>
<p>i wish i had a nice and thoughtful couselor. she's competent and all but the only time i EVER met her was when the school forced everyone to have a 20 minute meeting with their counselor. all she did was tell me my gpa and rank and ask me to fill out a form where i could list my extracurriculars and stuff. she probably doesn't even remember my name. so yeah, definitely no personal connection there.</p>
<p>Wow, thats interesting, your school must be really big. I think every school should have enough guidance counselors to be able to know atleast all of the senoirs at a personal level....If she doesnt know you, what will she write for your guidance counselor's recommendations?</p>
<p>One guidance counselor is never enough, especially for an apparently big school like yours.</p>
<p>Actually, I wouldn't worry about it. My status page still saids that they haven't received my counselor rec or transcript, but when I called Duke several weeks ago, they said that they received everything, and they were having problems updating their status pages. If they didn't contact you about missing materials, they probably have everything and simply didn't update the information onto the status page.</p>
